Angel A. Aloma is Executive Director of Food For The Poor, where he oversees the operation of the international relief organization. His professional expertise in the administration of business entities, his experience in missionary and social work at home and abroad, together with his in-depth educational background, has equipped him for the role of assisting the incredible growth of Food For The Poor.
Aloma is a "communicator par excellence" and has become an enthusiastic spokesperson for Food For The Poor. Also proficient in Spanish, Angel is able to convey the message of the mission to our supporters and partners throughout Latin America, where much of the support is directed. As an educator, Angel started a program to feed the homeless in Broward County (MANO) and led five missions trips to Caribbean countries. He is specially attuned to the plight of the poor in our hemisphere.
Aloma was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, reared primarily in Jamaica and attended Campion College in Kingston, Jamaica. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor in Canada, and received his Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Aloma is married with three sons, and resides with his wife Denise in Davie, Florida. |
