Anne McCallion is Senior Managing Director of Finance for Countrywide Home Loans, Inc., the nations leading residential mortgage lender and servicer, and its parent company, Countrywide Financial Corporation, (NYSE:CFC), a diversified financial services provider. She also serves on the Executive Committee of Countrywide Financial Corporation.
In her current role, McCallion works directly with Countrywide's Chief Financial Officer to provide oversight for all corporate accounting, tax and planning functions, as well as its current enterprise-wide application implementation.
McCallion previously served as Senior Managing Director of Operations, overseeing Countrywide's major processing and process-related business units, including Central IT and the Corporate Operations group, and was senior advisor for Enterprise Risk Assessment. She also has held the positions of Managing Director, Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. She began her Countrywide career serving in management positions in the Corporate Accounting area.
Prior to joining Countrywide in 1991, McCallion was a member of the technical staff of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the organization that sets accounting standards in the U.S. She also has held audit management positions with several public accounting firms.
A Certified Public Accountant, McCallion is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and is a former chairperson of the Financial Management Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, and her M.B.A. from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. McCallion is a member of the Board of Trustees of Gannon University and is on the Investment Committee of the Ventura County Community Foundation. |
