Anne Morrissey is President of Pennsylvania Managed Care. In this role she is responsible for strategic planning, oversight and operational management of all Pennsylvania Medicaid business. This includes Keystone Mercy Health Plan, which serves the five-county Greater Philadelphia area, and its sister company, AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan, which serves 15 counties in South Central and Northeast Pennsylvania. Ms. Morrissey is charged with the oversight and management of all operational activities, including hospital, physician and ancillary contracting; regulatory and legislative affairs; marketing, community relations and public affairs; and patient care, utilization and disease state management.
Before to her current role, Ms. Morrissey was the Vice President of Operations for CNA Life Insurance Company based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role she was responsible for providing leadership oversight for all New Business Life and Long-Term Care Policy processes in multiple locations. She led process improvement initiatives, and implemented productivity and quality programs. Prior to that, Ms. Morrissey was the Vice President of Operations Planning and Cost Containment for a CNA subsidiary based in Rockville, Maryland, where she established a Results Focused Project Management System, implemented a Preferred Provider Network nationwide, and implemented a reconciliation process that resulted in $100 million in savings for the Federal Employees Health Benefit program.
Ms. Morrissey is a professional nurse, and she received her degree from the Washington Hospital Center School of Nursing in affiliation with American University in Washington, DC. |
