Anthony J. Williott is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He is a trial lawyer with extensive courtroom experience whose practice focuses on Bad Faith Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense, and Insurance Defense. He also handles Product Liability, Breach of Warranty, and Lemon Law matters for manufacturers. Mr. Williott is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is a Fellow in the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, an honorary academy with limited membership. Mr. Williott was also named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2005. He is also a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and is a member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. Mr. Williott graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1978 with a B.S. in Finance. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1985. At Duquesne, he was selected to the Order of Barristers for excellence in trial advocacy following his team's victory in the Gourley Cup Trial Moot Court Competition, where Mr. Williott was named Runner-up Best Advocate. Mr. Williott has lectured on and written about insurance bad faith, the Pennsylvania Automobile Lemon Law, and medical malpractice defense. He is past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Theater Arts and was a member of the Core Planning Team for the Mt. Lebanon School District strategic planning process in 2000. |
