Anthony John Palumbo is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Anthony concentrates his practice in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, copyright and domain name matters.
His trademark practice includes counseling clients in the clearance, prosecution and maintenance of domestic and international trademarks, opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and litigation in state and federal courts.
Anthony has co-authored two articles on the topic of dilution - one discussing the shortfalls of the Federal Trademark Dilution Act of 1995, and one analyzing the changes set forth by the Trademark Dilution Revision Action of 2006. He also presented a lecture to legal professionals on the tenets of trademark and copyright law for Legal Assets of Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Anthony gained extensive commercial litigation experience in the fields of bankruptcy, securities, and real estate.
In General. Anthony received his J.D. from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2003 where he concentrated in Intellectual Property, and his bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 2000 where he was a double major in history and government. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey and Virginia. |
