Mr. Blaine joined Valspar in January 2007 from the MeadWestvaco Corporation a global producer of consumer packaging office products and specialty papers and chemicals headquartered in Richmond Virginia. He served MeadWestvaco as Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and prior to that as Vice President Human Resources and Organizational Development for its printing and publishing papers business. Prior to joining the Mead Corporation Mr. Blaine held a series of increasingly responsible human resource leadership roles with TRW Inc. Briggs & Stratton Corporation and Ventra Group Inc. where he served as Vice President of Human Resources for the corporation. He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communications from the University of Michigan in Flint. |
