Tony has practiced exclusively in the area of employment and immigration law since he joined the firm in 1988. He directs the firm's Immigration Practice Group. Tony serves as national outside counsel in employment and business immigration to leading employers in the fields of semiconductor design and manufacture, science and research, health care, management consulting, private secondary education, undergraduate and graduate education, recreation and tourism, manufacturing, and forest products. He serves as global outside counsel in employment and business immigration to several large multi-national business operations, including multinational companies with corporate headquarters or production/design facilities in the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Sweden, South Korea, Singapore, China, Malaysia, the Phillipines, and Canada. Tony represents employers and employees jointly in the design and implementation of employment-related immigration strategies. He has obtained approvals for thousands of employment-related immigration applications, including applications on behalf of multi-national executives and managers, "extraordinary ability" applicants, "outstanding" researchers and scientists, advance-degree professionals, national-interest waivers, professionals, skilled workers, and immigrant investors. He has helped clients process visa applications at more than 50 Consulates around the world and works regularly with clients on Consular processing issues. |
