~Anthony Westreich is President and Chief Executive Officer for Monday Properties, a leading real estate investment, development and management firm with offices in New York and Washington, DC. Mr. Westreich established Monday Properties in 2004, acquiring 100 percent of Max Capital Management Corp. and its 4-million-square-foot portfolio of some of New York City�s most celebrated office buildings, such as 230 Park Avenue (the Helmsley Building), 350 Madison Avenue (the former Conde Nast Building), 237 Park Avenue and 1440 Broadway. Mr. Westreich served as president of Max Capital Management from 2002 through 2004. Upon the acquisition of Max Capital, Mr. Westreich renamed the firm Monday Properties, opened its Washington, DC office and continues the firms� expansive growth.Prior to joining Max Capital, Mr. Westreich was a partner at Westfield Realty Inc., one of Washington, D.C.�s, largest private real estate ownership firms. While at Westfield, Mr. Westreich supervised the company�s development, management and construction initiatives, and ultimately managed Westfield�s operations, overseeing more than 3 million square feet of office space in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. He also formed a joint venture with Eakin/Youngentob Associates, a leading Washington, D.C. homebuilder, which has since developed more than 3,000 homes in 25 townhouse and condominium communities in partnership with Westfield.Mr. Westreich serves on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York, and is board member of the Grand Central Partnership, the Lincoln Center Real Estate and Construction Council, the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center, the Building Owners and Managers Association and the Young Presidents� Organization. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and has completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. |
