Antonio A. (Tony) Rosado attended The Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry in 1969. He continued post-graduate studies in Organic Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez campus from 1969 until 1971. In 1971 he started his professional career as a refinery laboratory chemist at Sun Oil Company's Yabucoa, P.R. petroleum refinery where he eventually rose to the position of Chief Chemist. After four years in the laboratory, he was assigned to the Sales Department in Puerto Rico Sun Oil Company as a Sales Representative, attaining the position of Sales Manager in charge of all the on-island and U.S. East Coast market for the Puerto Rico Refining system. In 1980 he relocated with his family to Pennsylvania to work with Sun International, Inc., the Crude Oil and Refined Products trading arm subsidiary of Sun Oil Company, eventually becoming Manager of the Residual Fuels and Feedstocks Trading Department with worldwide trading responsibilities. He joined Castle Oil Corporation in early 1997 as Senior Vice-President for the Supply and Marketing Division. Mr. Rosado is responsible for overseeing all bulk trading and purchases for the Castle system, risk management and wholesale distributor sales. He is the company's principal contact with various international trading and supply companies and national oil producing countries. |
