Mr. Francis is the Founder/CEO of Commerce Chain Consulting, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of global supply chains, logistics and IT integration. Mr. Francis' career has taken him across the globe. Prior to setting up Commerce Chain Consulting, he was Vice President of Worldwide Customer Operations at PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences, where he was responsible for driving supply chain excellence to PerkinElmer customers. Before that, he was Vice President of Global Operations at SciQuest.com from 1999 to 2001, setting up and directing the global back-office operations of the internet marketplace. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Francis was vice president/general manager of the Logistics, Electronic Commerce and Customer Services Division for Federal Express� European, Middle Eastern and African headquarters. Mr. Francis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Fellow of the Institute of Transport and Logistics. He is a Member of the Global Supply Chain Management Advisory Board at the Kenan Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF). He speaks regularly on e-commerce and supply chain issues at conferences and universities. |
