Ariel Berrios is a Shareholder in the Los Angeles office Bank and Finance Group. Mr. Berrios regularly represents financial institutions and companies in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of cash flow and asset-based financing transactions as well as venture lending and leasing. He has extensive experience in large syndicated transactions, including second lien financing transactions in various industries including domestic and international technology-based companies, agricultural manufacturing, franchises, and wholesale distributors. He regularly advises clients in connection with forbearance agreements, debt restructuring, workouts, and foreclosures. He also advises clients in connection with equity investments, warrants, general corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Berrios co-authored Chapter 30 of the Business Workouts Manual, entitled "Second Lien Financing and Workouts."
He received his B.A. from California State University, San Bernardino in 1989 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1997.
He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and German.
