Dr. Cohen was Principal Scientist and Architect at Topspin Communications. He focused on RDMA-based solutions for virtual I/O, high-performance computing, and databases. Before that, he was the Director of Network Software Research at Bell Labs where he focused on web caching, layer 4-7 switching and load balancing. Dr. Cohen holds a BS in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and both an MS and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. He is the author of research papers in the areas of storage systems for multimedia, web switching, and RDMA-based protocols, and holds several patents in these areas. |
