During this time, Arman has developed a proven record of successful software development in signal processing, machine vision and machine intelligence with 13 granted patents in his name. As one of the first hires at Cognex Corporation, the world s leading machine vision company ($1.3B market cap), Arman was instrumental in the development of a number of innovative vision technologies that enable automated inspection and alignment of layers of semiconductor wafers. At IBM, Arman was part of the company s charter to develop equipment for the precise placement of components on semiconductor substrates. During his studies, Arman performed research in computational methods in Fluid Mechanics at Alden Laboratory, one of the oldest continuously operating hydraulic laboratories in the world. Arman holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
