Prior to joining the firm, Arnold served 25 years with the Attorney General's Office representing the Connecticut Department of Transportation with attention to Aviation, Public Transportation and Highway matters in a wide range of activities. He has extensive development and construction contract experience, having served as lead counsel for the State during the 1982-1986 $100,000,000 Bradley International Airport Expansion project, the development of the $25,000,000 Sheraton Bradley Hotel, and the $35,000,000 United Parcel Service Land/Air Hub facility. Such projects have ranged in value from less than one million dollars to in excess of five hundred million dollars. Most recently he represented the State of Connecticut in its acquisition by condemnation and purchase, and in negotiating architect and construction management agreements for both the Rentschler Field Stadium and the Adriaen's Landing projects and was involved with the G. Fox Building and Garage renovation and construction projects.
