Arthur D. Gunther, the president and founder of Gunther Group LLC, practiced commercial litigation at Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. for over five years. Art left the firm as a partner in 1998. Before joining Sachnoff in 1992, Art served as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. Holderman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Art graduated with the distinction of Order of the Coif from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Art left Sachnoff & Weaver in early 1998 to pursue a career in legal recruiting.
Prior to law school, Art was an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1985 with his B.S. in Accountancy. Art was named to the school's Bronze Tablet. He also received the Silver Medal on the May 1985 CPA Exam.
Art was a featured panelist for the American Management Association's Center for Legal Management's Conference in New York City on "Innovative Strategies for Law Firm Recruitment and Retention." He has also advised law firms on successful recruiting practices. |
