Art received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School of Business) before earning his J.D. from Columbia Law School in New York. He has attended various continuing education workshops and seminars, primarily in Bank Law.
In 1989, he assisted with the formation of Hill Country Bank and served as a director and legal counsel until the bank was sold in 1998. Art has practiced law for more than 40 years, and has spent the last several years in the healthcare industry.
He currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for The Medical Institute for Sexual Health, an institution that is committed to improving the welfare of our society. In this position, he is responsible not only for legal counsel, but also for external relations and administrative duties.
Art is a 20 year resident of Austin, and a sports enthusiast. He believes that his knowledge of banking and his experience providing counsel to banks will be an asset to Treaty Oak Bank. |
