Artie joined the game industry in 2004 as an artist at PopTop software after obtaining his B.S. in Electronic Arts - Computer Animation. He joined our team at Firaxis in February 2006. Artie was trained in traditional illustration and life drawing and hopes to experiment with traditional animation in the near future. In his spare time he likes to listen to classical music and soundtracks, weight lift, play frisbee, watch film & animation, and tour the local wine scene. Although he doesn't consider himself a hard-core gamer, he says "give me a good world to explore, and a good story or good mystery and you'll have me hooked for hours." Artie highly recommends "Legend of the Five Rings, 3rd ed." for those who have a fancy for traditional pen and paper RPG's.
