Arun Bhatia joined Magnacare in October 2003 to coordinate the implementation of Magnacare's Enterprise Processing systems. As Vice President of Information Systems Mr. Bhatia is responsible for managing Magnacare's Enterprise Systems, Infrastructure and technology platforms to meet its customer�s needs.Mr. Bhatia brings over 18 years of Information Technology and Business experience to Magnacare. Mr. Bhatia has worked at various major organizations in the Healthcare, Property & Casualty Insurance and Financial industries, including Oxford health plans, where he led initiatives to implement the open systems architecture for multiple business functions, Hartford Insurance Group, where he led the initiative to implement an Enterprise wide claims processing system and McKesson where he consulted on the implementation of Patient Assistance Program, for a major pharmaceuticalc company. Mr. Bhatia also worked with one of the largest Canadian banks (CIBC) to enable it to offer the purchase and account management of Guaranteed Investment Credits (GIC) via the web and the branch Channels.Mr. Bhatia holds an Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering with specialization in Computer Science, from University of Delhi, India and has attended management programs at University of Phoenix, AZ. |
