Mr. Kulkarni joined Strategic Allocation Group in August of 2002 as a Senior Consulting Associate. His primary role is that of Director-Financial Engineering, providing investment strategy and systems development for SCA Group. Mr. Kulkarni also assists in evaluation of investment managers and shares primary responsibility for some client relationships with the Director - Due Diligence. In addition, Mr. Kulkarni manages the IT infrastructure for SCA Group. Prior to joining full-time, Mr. Kulkarni also served as a summer associate as SCA. His prior experience includes IT Consulting for Hoffmann-La Roche and as a summer analyst for Reliance Industries, India. A graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr.Kulkarni received his M.Eng. degree in Information Technology with research in Engineering Systems, Dept. of Technology Policy and Planning, affiliated with MIT-Sloan School of Management. He has been an active contributor to the 'Industry Systems Study Group' of Sloan Foundation, developing information solutions for socio-economic optimization of the automobile industry value chain, as a part of the MIT-Ford alliance. Mr.Kulkarni also holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University with research in Statistical Molecular Physics. He completed undergraduate work in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India with concentration in Control Systems. Mr.Kulkarni has led I.I.T. Madras in the State Hockey League and has actively participated in Amateur League tournaments. Mr.Kulkarni is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. |
