Dr. Ashok Agrawala is an expert at networking and communications issues. Dr. Agrawala is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland. He is also Director of the Maryland Information and Network Dynamics (MIND) Lab. Dr. Agrawala helped develop Rover, a DRACCO technology for location-aware information systems and rapid deployment of communication systems. His research activities have been supported by various federal agencies including DARPA, NSF, and AFOSR. Dr. Agrawala holds joint positions with University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) and the Department of Electrical Engineering.
