Ashok Narasimhan was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Prio Inc, a provider of 'e-enabled' Commerce Solutions specializing in the development of strategic partnerships, technologies and programs that drive commerce in both traditional and online shopping environments. Prio was acquired by InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSP) in December 1999. During the seven years prior to forming Prio, Ashok served as Vice President of Product and Marketing Development, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Vice President of Business Development at VeriFone. Now a Hewlett-Packard subsidiary, VeriFone is the world leader in automated electronic payment transactions. Prior to VeriFone, he was the founding CEO of Wipro (NYSE: WIT), India's leading Computer and Software Company.
