Audra joined EEI in May 2004 providing financial leadership as the company executes its plan to commercialize its bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery concepts as a newly formed public entity.
Audra, a Certified Management Accountant and Microsoft Certified Professional, previously served in senior finance and information technology positions with privately-held and publicly-traded companies in the water transportation and consumer products industries.
At Mormac Marine Enterprises, Inc., a U.S. commercial ship operator, Audra presented best value business proposals for new commercial and government initiatives and, as Funds Control Officer, commanded the financial affairs and management information systems needs of its Ready Reserve Fleet division responsible for maintaining ships in Fully Mission Capable Readiness Status contracted with the U.S. Maritime Administration.
At Acme United Corp (ASE:ACU), a manufacturer and multi-national wholesale distributor of consumer products, Audra orchestrated an integral part of its turn-around effort managing debt restructurings, financial reporting and compliance, and re-shaping of internal controls as the Director of Finance. As Director of Information Technology, Audra led the transformation of its MIS cost center into a strategic IT business partner overhauling the network infrastructure, implementing a new ERP system, exploiting internet solutions, and re-engineering business processes and controls.
Audra has also served on the national board of directors of the American Society of Women Accountants and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. Audra holds a BBA from Pace University and an MBA from Regis University. |
