Audrey Baker is a member of the firm's business department. She practices in the areas of corporate, limited liability company, partnership and general business law, with a focus on equity financings, mergers and acquisitions and other complex commercial transactions. Ms. Baker often represents purchasers or sellers in asset and stock sale transactions. Ms. Baker's practice covers general business matters from formation through dissolution in a variety of industries, and includes counseling start-up and established companies in areas such as finance, capital formation, securities issuances, equity compensation and governance. She also represents angel and venture investors in new and growing entities. Ms. Baker graduated from Stanford University in 1986 with a B.A. in history, and earned her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1989. Ms. Baker was a member of the financial institutions and corporate group at Lillick & Charles LLP (now Nixon Peabody LLP) for nine years, and prior to joining Stein & Lubin in late 2002 was a member of the business and finance group at Thelen Reid & Priest LLP. |
