Augie has more than 30 years experience in a variety of medical device and technology companies. Prior to founding Cardiva in July, 2002, Augie was Founder, Chairman and CEO of Eyden, a document automation software company, Chief Operating Officer at Embolic Protection, Inc., an interventional cardiology company acquired by Boston Scientific, and Senior Vice President of Operations at Gynecare Inc., a women�s healthcare company acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Prior to Gynecare, he served as Executive VP of Operations at Menlo Care, Inc., a vascular access device company acquired by Johnson & Johnson. He has also held executive positions at Nellcor (acquired by Mallinckrodt), Cygnet Technologies (acquired by Everex, Inc.), and Four Phase Systems (acquired by Motorola). Augie holds an MS degree in Operations Research from Stanford University, an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MS degree in Statistics from National Chen Chi University in Taiwan, and a BS degree in Industrial Management from Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. |
