Auke van den Hout serves as European Products Organization leader for Acxiom�s Information Products Division a role he has held since mid-2007.
Auke joined Acxiom in 2004 with the company�s acquisition of Claritas, the leading consumer data provider. He was closely involved in the acquisition process and from 1997 to 2004 held a number of senior management posts at Claritas.
His previous leadership positions included Business Development Manager in Europe and Asia, Country Manager for Italy and head of the international Internet section of Claritas. Since then van den Hout has been a regular member of Acxiom�s senior leadership team in Europe.
Auke has overall responsibility for the European information products business including the setting of strategy, ensuring that strong results are maintained and future growth and development are realized. Ultimately overseeing data operations in Acxiom�s six European countries, he regularly travels between the offices in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Warsaw and Lisbon.
Auke�s priorities for the information products business are to ensure that Acxiom can help its clients meet today�s marketing challenges with data solutions that can ensure effective customer acquisition and retention as well as shareholder value. A key focus area is guiding Acxiom�s strategy around digital solutions as well as more traditional direct marketing approaches.
He attained his Masters degree in business economics at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, in the Netherlands and participated in the Stanford executive program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Palo Alto, California. |
