Mr. Shanfelter has been a member of our board since May 2007 and has served as chairman of our compensation committee since May 2007. He serves as a member of the board of directors of MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ), a publicly traded specialty contractor and as a special consultant. Mr. Shanfelter served as Chief Executive Officer and President of MasTec from August 2001 until April 2007. From February 2000 until August 2001, Mr. Shanfelter was MasTec's Chief Operating Officer. Prior to being named Chief Operating Officer, he served as President of one of their service offerings from January 1997. Mr. Shanfelter has been in the telecommunications infrastructure industry since 1981. Mr. Shanfelter currently serves as President of the Power and Communications Contractors Association ("PCCA"), an industry trade group, and has been a member of the board of directors since 1993. He is also the chairman of the Cable Television Contractors Council of the PCCA. Mr. Shanfelter has also been a member of the Society of Cable Television Engineers since 1982 and the National Cable Television Association since 1991. |
