Barbara A. Cronin is a partner who represents public and private companies as well as nonprofit organizations. Barbara has extensive experience in matters concerning employee benefit plans, including tax qualified plans, nonqualified plans, health and welfare benefit plans and negotiating employee benefit matters in the context of corporate mergers and acquisitions. Barbara's practice includes reviewing and negotiating service provider agreements and conducting employee benefit legal compliance reviews. She also represents executives in employment and severance negotiations.
In General. Barbara received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and a J.D. degree with honors from DePaul University College of Law. In addition to her legal practice, she has taught employee benefits at the Roosevelt University Paralegal Institute. Barbara has also been a speaker on a wide range of employee benefits issues, including qualified retirement plans and, most recently, on benefits issues under the HIPAA privacy rules. |
