Barbara Estrada's experience encompasses over twenty-five years of consulting and senior management in Executive Search, Organizational Development, Career Consulting, and Human Resources. She has conducted retained searches for industries ranging from multimedia, telecommunications, systems integration, software, and computer research to healthcare, biotech and the public sector. The breadth of her experience in working with large private and public organizations along with Silicon Valley start-ups, gives her the unique perspective to look beyond the obvious sources for qualified candidates.
Barbara has held executive positions such as Vice President of Human Resources for a $500M Technology company and Vice President & General Manager of a career consulting firm located in San Jose.
Barbara established her own firm in order to provide the personalized service for her customers that has made her very successful with her search assignments. She has strong organizational and individual assessment skills that enable clients to fulfill their executive staffing needs with the individual that fits well with the organization and has the capabilities to meet their goals and objectives.
Barbara Estrada holds a BA from San Jose State University. She has been a guest lecturer on Global Diversity Strategies for Corporations at Stanford University and Entrepreneurship at the University of Santa Clara. She has conducted workshops on Managing Your Career for the NHEA - National Hispanic Employees Association. In addition she has participated as a panelist for the Rainbow PUSH - Digital Connections Conference, WCAN - Women of Color Action Network and CHisPA - California Hispanic Professional Association. She has been active in FEW - Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, and recently joined HOPE - Hispana Organization for Political Equality.
