Barb Allen is President of Proactive Partners. She brings a wealth of corporate experience to her role.
Mrs. Allen spent a substantial part of her career with Quaker Oats, where she was Executive Vice President of International Foods, ran Worldwide Strategic Planning and was President of a domestic division. She was also a partner with The Everest Group growth strategy consulting, CEO of the Women�s United Soccer Association where she directed the launch of the women�s professional soccer league, and was President of Corporate Supplier Solutions at Corporate Express.
Mrs. Allen is currently serving on the Board of Directors for RLI, a specialty insurance company, and Lance Inc., a snack manufacturer (Cape Cod potato chips, Lance snack crackers). She previously served on the Boards of Maytag, Converse, Tyson, Charthouse Inc. and Coty.
Mrs. Allen holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and did her undergraduate work at the University of Illinois, Champaign. |
