Barbara Goodstein was appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing and Product Development for AXA Financial in July 2005. Ms. Goodstein is also a member of the company�s Executive Management Committee.
Ms. Goodstein is responsible for all life and annuity product design upgrades and enhancements for both retail and wholesale distribution channels. She leads the development of all marketing programs sales materials and product launches and implementations and directs market intelligence research and the creation of company-wide advertising and promotion. In addition she works with the company�s actuarial and finance areas to assure appropriate product pricing asset/liability match risk analysis and underwriting approach.
Immediately prior to joining AXA Financial Ms. Goodstein was senior vice president of Personal Financial Services for JP Morgan Chase a platform she created that provides a broad range of banking and brokerage services to mass affluent clients within the branch system. Earlier Ms. Goodstein was creator president and CEO of Instinet.com a retail entry into the online brokerage industry. She also held senior management positions at Scudder Kemper Investments Van Eck Global Bankers Trust and Shearson Lehman Brothers.
Ms. Goodstein earned her M.B.A in Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and her B.A. from Brown University. She holds the Series 7 63 and 24 registrations.
