Barb has represented companies at every stage of corporate development, ranging from newly founded start-ups to large publicly held firms. She also has managed the IPO communications process for several clients. Before co-founding CHEN PR, Barb had her own successful consulting practice. Previously she was a partner and vice president at Lois Paul & Partners for eight years. Barb has previous experience in corporate communications and technical writing with software firms. She serves on the Marketing Committee of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge and the Advisory Board for Agile Workforce. She earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State and an M.S. in Science Journalism from Boston University.Outside the office, Barb is alternately inspired and humiliated by her teenage son and husband on the tennis court. She is proud to have shipped more than 10,000 childrens' books to rural community centers and schools on behalf of the Appalachian Book Project. |
