Barbara is CEO and chairman of NeoScale Systems, establishing the company as the independent leader in enterprise storage security. In the four years she's been CEO at NeoScale, the company has gained a broad range of Global 100 customers and tripled sales annually.

Barbara brings more than 25 years of extensive industry experience. She was formerly EVP at Quantum for corporate strategy, marketing and IT, consolidating Quantum's acquisitions into a unified strategy, brand and operational platform. As president of Quantum's DLT tape group, she led the launch of new technology platforms and added high growth product categories continuing DLT's market leadership. As general manager of Quantum's $3B desktop hard drive business, Barbara maintained its #1 market position and launched a new consumer business for the nascent DVR market.

During her 13 year tenure at Intel, Barbara held senior leadership positions in general management, marketing, engineering and operations. She also held executive positions at Maxtor, Weitek and Lumina. Barbara holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. She served as a director for Ace Technology and also for Support Network for Battered Women, a non-profit agency.
