Barry brings over 20 years of executive management experience to Baldwin Gilman. He has built several foodservice and retail businesses from start-ups to successful regional chains. In addition to serving as CEO for 2 companies, Barry has held senior positions in marketing, sales, operations, and real estate. Barry is on the Board of Advisors at the Goering Center for Family & Private Business at the University of Cincinnati. In this role, he has worked with dozens of family businesses to help them achieve a smooth transition to the next generation of owners. He understands the unique challenge of attracting and integrating non-family members to key management positions within family businesses. He brings the unique perspective of a business owner who has recruited over 50 senior managers and executives for a variety of high-growth enterprises. Barry received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard. |
