Barry Wallace is Executive Vice President, Hospitality Services for Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Mr. Wallace is responsible for all top and bottom line revenue from hospitality operations for Outrigger and OHANA brand hotels, resorts, and condominiums, as well as the major chain hotels and unbranded hotels operated by Outrigger Enterprises Group. His primary mission is to create enthusiastic satisfaction of owners, guests and employees.
Prior to joining Outrigger Hotels, Mr. Wallace spent ten years with Promus Hotel Company, a leading hotel and franchising company. There he was Senior Director of Hotel Marketing for the Embassy Suites brand and also spent several years in charge of revenue management for over 600 Promus' hotels. Previously with Embassy Suites, Mr. Wallace held the positions of General Manager, District Director of Operations, and finally Director of Franchise Relations and Operations. Before joining Embassy Suites he managed multiple hotels in the Washington D.C. area.
Mr. Wallace is currently the chair of the Oahu chapter of the Hawaii Hotel & Lodging Association, past President of the HHLA Oahu Chapter, and is an active member of the Better Business Bureau and the Business Banking Council. He is the statewide chair of the Visitor Industry Charity Walk for 2007. He also sits on the advisory boards for the Hawaii Pacific University Travel Industry Management Program, the University of Hawaii Travel Industry Management School and Kapiolani Community College's Culinary Institute of the Pacific.
A native of Connecticut, Mr. Wallace is a graduate and active alumnus of Yale University. |
