Barton Schaefer, PhD, is CTO. He brings to iPost more than 15 years of experience as a key architect and senior developer of email systems, having created flexible and scalable solutions with an emphasis on open standards. Before co-founding iPost, Bart helped found Z-Code Software, whose ground-breaking application, Z-Mail, won numerous awards, including PC Magazine�s Editor�s Choice Award. Dr. Schaefer is actively involved in IETF email standards discussions and the Anti-SPAM Research Group, and contributes regularly to open software projects including Spam Assassin and zsh. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Oregon Graduate Institute, and a BSS in Computer Science from Cornell College. |
