Mr. Shaeffer is a Vice President with Signal Hill and has a broad range of experience providing investment banking services and managing debt and equity related investments. While in investment banking with Signal Hill, Mr. Shaeffer has participated in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, private placements of capital, fairness opinions and numerous valuation assignments. Prior to Signal Hill, Mr. Shaeffer was with the Columbia, Maryland based investment funds Beltway Capital Partners and Parkway Capital Investors. With Beltway, Mr. Shaeffer was responsible for underwriting and managing investments in distressed situations. With Parkway, Mr. Shaeffer was responsible for underwriting and managing investments in mezzanine debt and equity participations. Prior to Beltway and Parkway, Mr. Shaeffer spent nearly eight years with Mercantile Bank, a Baltimore based regional bank. Mr. Shaeffer's experience at Mercantile included credit work, collateral auditing and commercial lending. Mr. Shaeffer served as commercial loan officer in the bank's asset-based group, where his duties included new business development and portfolio management of senior secured debt facilities. Mr. Shaeffer graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College. Mr. Shaeffer is licensed by FINRA as a General Securities Representative (Series 7). |
