Ben Wilson litigates complex commercial disputes, with an emphasis on accountants' professional liability and securities fraud class actions. He currently is involved in representing Big Four accounting firms in a variety of matters in federal and state courts, and has also represented clients in a number of smaller litigations in Massachusetts state courts. In addition, Ben counsels accounting firms and other clients on responding to government investigations.
Ben's pro bono litigation experience includes involvement in the firm's Domestic Violence Prevention Project, and assisting low-income clients in housing and family law matters. His work in the latter area includes representation of individuals in eviction proceedings.
Before joining Foley Hoag, Ben was Law Clerk to Senator Patrick J. Leahy, Chairman Senate Judiciary Committee. He was also an intern at the Salzburg Seminar (Salzburg, Austria - Middlebury Vermont). In 2002 Ben was a volunteer in Congressman Rahm Emanuel's campaign in the Illinois 5th District.
