Benjamin T. May is head of our High-Yield and Structured Products business, a position he has held since he joined Piper Jaffray in 2005. May joined Piper Jaffray in 2005 following 10 years with Wachovia Corp. At Wachovia, he built a full-service high-yield sales, trading and research department and served as head of that department. He also served as head of fixed-income sales and head of credit products. Prior to Wachovia, May held positions at Dillon Read & Company and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
May earned a bachelor�s degree in history from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from New York University.
May is a member of the board of directors of the Montgomery Bell Academy and Yale University Alumni Schools Committee. |
