Mr. Daina is an independent licensed psychologist, specializing for 23 years in organizational consulting to investors, boards, and executives nationwide on senior-management selection and team effectiveness. He has focused primarily on venture-capital firms and their technology companies, and he has also consulted to large enterprises in a range of industries, professional and intercollegiate football teams, and the telecommunications and life sciences sectors. Previously, Mr. Daina was a clinical psychologist and he managed a private hospital. He was Vice President of Human Resources at Cortech, a publicly-traded biotechnology company. Mr. Daina is a graduate of Rutgers College. He holds an MS and PhD in Psychology from Howard University. Mr. Daina was trained at the National Institute of Mental Health, was a researcher at the US Census Bureau and a Clinical Fellow at McLean Hospital - Harvard Medical School. He was an officer in the US Army and US Air Force. Mr. Daina serves on the board of trustees of Outward Bound Wilderness, is a member of the advisory boards of software companies Aegis Analytical and OpenLogic, and was a trustee of the Kempe National Foundation and Blue Sky Bridge, both nonprofits dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. |
