Beth Ritter left the world of "Mmm, mmm good!" for The Greater Good in 2006, trading in her human resources role at The Campbell Soup Company for a place here in our hive. "I've always been a consumer of natural products, so when the opportunity to work for a high-growth natural personal care products company became available, I was in!" she says.
Beth's group helps find the right "talent" for our company, seeking out people with skill sets that fit our particular needs at any given time, but also looking for people with our vision and values who will help drive both the company and The Greater Good. And she really enjoys the impact she can make in both areas, as well.
One thing that might surprise Burt's Bees customers, in Beth's opinion, is the company's pace. As a small company in the South, she thinks consumers might have the perception that Burt's Bees is a little slow and sleepy. But it's quite the opposite around here. "We are a very fast-paced, nimble company that values doing the right thing."
Beth holds a B.A. in Labor Relations from The Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from Old Dominion University. |
