Beverly B. Wallace is President - Financial Services Group for Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. She is responsible for overseeing the company's accounts receivable management, All About Staffing, Financial and Employee Services systems development and implementation, and managed care contracting for HCA's approximately 200 hospitals.
Wallace began her career with Humana in Florida in 1983. She served as chief financial officer at the hospital, market, and division-level in the company's hospital operations, which was later renamed Galen.
In 1993, Wallace joined HCA when the company merged with Galen. She served as a CFO for the Nashville and Mid-Atlantic divisions, overseeing hospitals' financial operations, managed care contracting and physician services.
Later, she utilized her expertise in developing growth strategies, improving quality and reducing expenses to lead HCA Homecare until the company sold those operations. In 1998 Wallace was appointed Vice President of Managed Care for HCA. She was named to her current position in July 1999.
Wallace earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of West Florida. She was born on January 14, 1951.
