Bill Bell is a seasoned technology thought leader. He has over 16 years of experience as a senior decision maker, technical architect, project manager, and developer, and his skills include assembling effective teams, mentoring, solving problems, and managing risk. Prior to joining Statera, he has worked at some of the top IT companies including IBM, Sapient, and Immedient. He is an entrepreneur and was involved early with CNET, Intershop, Planetarabia.com, and Internet Gift Registries. Bill is fluent in a broad range of enterprise technologies including portals, web sites, eCommerce, security and distributed development. He is often involved in strategic thinking and participates in due diligence activities, mentoring and technology evaluations. He is well versed in the latest trends around Microsoft, Oracle, Sun, and open source technologies. Bill is a big proponent for agile methodologies, user centered design, and has authored Statera s flexible development methodology. Bill is responsible for understanding and predicting trends in the industry from a technology perspective and making sure Statera s technical consultants stay ahead of those curves. He plans and coordinates all technical training for Statera s consultants ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest advancements. Bill graduated from the University of Buffalo (SUNY at Buffalo) with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and is a recent graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Colorado (Boulder, Denver and Colorado Springs).
