Bill Fanning joined MVP as an Associate in 2006. Prior to MVP, Mr. Fanning worked as an Associate in Bank of America's (BofA) Global Corporate & Investment Bank. At BofA, Mr. Fanning spent four years primarily involved in large corporate credit products, underwriting and structuring syndicated bank debt transactions across both the Aerospace & Defense and Forest Products industries.
While at BofA, Mr. Fanning was involved in a $21 billion leveraged buyout, underwriting the financing for a $700 million acquisition, underwriting and arranging the financing for two REIT conversions, and several financing arrangements, ranging in size from $100 million to $11 billion.
Mr. Fanning has successfully passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program and earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2006.
