Employed with OIT since August 2000, Bill Foster oversees the Technical Support department. Bill's primary responsibilities are to implement new support procedures; aid in the role of the support staff; work with the development team on existing customer problems; and oversee the daily operations of the support department. "Supporting our users gives me the chance to see the many ways that our customers are putting our software to work," says Bill. "I get to see so many possibilities of what DocFinity can do and already does for our customers, and I enjoy offering a hand to help them get the most from the software." He estimates that, on average, his department receives about 50 support questions per week.
Bill holds degrees from Penn State in electrical engineering and telecommunications. Prior to joining OIT, he worked for a clothing manufacturer as a network technician and Murata Electronics, where he specialized in Crystal Oscillator Surfacing Compensation. |
