A Venture Partner with Ignition Partners since 2002, Bill formed Sparkplug with the help of the Ignition team in 2004, merging the company in 2006 with Telespectra and Prairie iNet. Before joining Ignition, he served as CEO for two Internet companies, focusing on turnaround, and follow-on financing for communications software provider, WorldStream Communications and Internet grocer, Peapod. Prior to that, Bill had an 11-year career with McCaw Cellular /AT&T Wireless. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President U.S. Operations as the company grew to $6 billion in revenue and became the largest US wireless carrier. He also served as President of the Central Region leading the build out of the company�s PCS markets, headed marketing for the company and over the years served in other senior management roles. Prior to joining McCaw Cellular, Bill had an 11-year career in senior operating and partner positions with advertising and media firms. Bill is a graduate of Washburn University and Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management where he graduated from the Kellogg Management Institute. |
