Bill McGrane brings to Metallect more than 25 years of industry experience and technical leadership. As Metallect�s director of engineering, he focuses primarily on the user interface and usability aspects of the product line. Prior to co-founding Metallect, Bill was chief architect and director of software development at AMX Corporation (NASDAQ: AMXC). He also served both as vice president and director of software development at AnswerSoft, Inc. (acquired by Concerto Software). He spent his first seven years in the software industry at Micrografx Inc., a premier Windows graphics software development company, and nearly 10 years developing innovative software solutions for clinical research laboratories at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Bill received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Texas at Austin. |
