Bill Oliver has executive responsibility for EnCana's oil and natural gas business in the Athabasca region of northeast Alberta including the Company's oil sands operations. Bill is also responsible for the profitability of EnCana's midstream assets and marketing the growing production from EnCana's North American resource plays including development and implementation of optimal transportation solutions to maximize the Corporation's netbacks. Bill joined one of EnCana's predecessor companies in 1982 and has held several executive leadership roles in the areas of exploration and production marketing corporate planning and reserve acquisitions. Bill is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers Markets & Transportation Executive Policy Group. He has served as a director of Syncrude Canada Prism Sulphur Corporation Pan-Alberta Gas Ltd. and the Independent Petroleum Association of Canada. Bill is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and has completed the Executive Business Program at Cornell University in New York State.
