Blair Stewart, former Naval Officer and law clerk to Chief Justice Donald R. Wright of the California Supreme Court, currently conducts a private legal practice specializing in strategic legal and business consultation on significant corporate transactions and corporate governance. Prior to this, he was a partner in the Palo Alto office of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, where he worked from 1976-2001. While at the firm, he practiced corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the representation of private and public high technology and biotechnology companies. He has extensive experience in corporate transactions, for-profit and non-profit corporate governance, intellectual property and licensing, domestic and international joint ventures, and executive compensation. He currently serves on the boards of the Sensory Access Foundation and the Celiac Sprue Research Foundation. Mr. Stewart is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Stanford Law School. |
