With over 10 years experience applying cutting-edge technology to business issues, Mr. Allard founded retentionEngine in 2000 in an effort to bring that knowledge to bear on the compensation process. Reaching out to leaders in the compensation community, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the needs of compensation managers, which is embodied in the compManager suite. A member of WorldatWork, (formerly the American Compensation Association), his writings on compensation technology have been published in Employee Plan Benefits Review, a leading Human Resources periodical. Prior to retentionEngine, Bob assisted in the founding of SANgate, a storage area networking company developing interoperability technologies. He has held roles at pre-IPO technology companies including Predictive Systems, The Bisys Group and Integrated Computing Engines. Prior to his life in high-technology, Bob helped establish The Choice Program, an innovative social services organization in Baltimore. Bob performs with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and received his BA in Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross. |
