Bob Cooke was named Vice President, Network Business Management for FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. in April 2007. In this role Cooke is responsible for Fujifilm's Synapse� PACS business both in the U.S. and globally, providing a consistent business practice model as it relates to product management, marketing and integration.
Prior to this position Cooke served as Executive Director, Marketing and Product Management, overseeing domestic marketing and product management. Under his leadership the company surpassed the 1000th Synapse install globally, and in the US market Synapse sales more than doubled. He joined the company in 2003 as Executive Director of Marketing, Network Systems with responsibility for all Synapse marketing efforts.
Cooke has nearly 20 years of medical imaging and PACS industry experience, having previously held various technical, marketing, and senior management positions of increasing responsibility. His career in the medical imaging business began as a software engineer for Matrix Instruments, an early market leader in radiology imaging. Just prior to joining Fujifilm he was Vice President and Global General Manager for Agfa Healthcare's PACS business, where he played a key role in developing the business growth strategy for the company.
Cooke is viewed as an industry pioneer for creating early commercial success in the mainstream PACS market, and is a frequent speaker at educational and industry forums.
He received Bachelor of Science degrees in both General Engineering and Computer Science from Trinity College. |
